Ryan Palmer represents
buyers and sellers in sale and purchase transactions, helps
clients develop franchising and distribution systems and
represents lenders in real estate and corporate finance
transactions. He is a member of the firm’s Business
Law, Corporate Finance — Mergers and Acquisitions
and Franchising, Distribution, and Intellectual Property
groups.
Ryan’s
practice includes counseling businesses and individuals
on a variety of general corporate, intellectual property,
consumer and Internet law issues. In these areas, his experience
includes advising clients in the selection, registration
and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights and domain names
and counseling companies in the licensing, sale, and distribution
of their products and services through the Internet and
through traditional channels.
Ryan graduated cum laude
from the University of St.Thomas School of Law, where he
was the founding editor-in-chief of the school’s
law review. He has also
studied international business and intellectual property
law in London as a student in the University of San Diego’s
Institute on International and Comparative Law. Ryan’s
travels through the Middle East and Asia helped inspire
the founding of Beyond Global, a non-profit corporation
that enables students to give back to the
peoples and cultures they visit while studying abroad.
Ryan
is admitted to practice in the state courts of Minnesota
and is a member of the Minnesota and American Bar Associations.
He was honored as a “Rising Star” by Minnesota
Law & Politics.
