A senior financial analyst at Krass Monroe, P.A., Mary is a valued member of the Public Finance and Advisory Services practice groups. She brings 25 years of experience to the firm in the following areas:
Analysis of development programs

Development of tax increment financing plans and associated documentation

Assessment of redevelopment and housing projects

Development of documentation required for general obligation, revenue, and industrial development revenue bond issues

Preparation of financial analysis of individual projects to determine appropriate level of public assistance
Mary is highly skilled at structuring and analyzing development, redevelopment and housing programs for the public sector, including cities, counties and agencies, as well as private sector developers. As a liaison between public and private entities, Mary researches and prepares legal documentation and financial analyses for various types of redevelopment and development programs. Mary also reviews and drafts proposed legislation relating to public finance issues that impact the firm’s clients and co-authors a tax increment financing handbook following the end of each legislative session.
Prior to working with the firm, Mary was a principal in a public finance advisory firm that merged into Krass Monroe. She also was employed as a licensed investment banker for a regional investment banking firm.
Mary received her B.A., cum laude, from Augsburg College
and has completed courses toward a Masters Degree from the
University of St. Thomas.
