An associate at Krass Monroe, P.A., Rod practices in the
areas of general corporate law, mergers and acquisition,
corporate succession planning and taxation with an emphasis on tax law and tax planning.
Prior to joining Krass
Monroe, Rod worked in the tax departments at the international
accounting firms of KPMG and Deloitte, assisting many fortune 500 companies as well as providing tax planning for individuals. After
several years in public accounting, Rod transitioned to
private practice at a Minneapolis law firm as a tax/corporate
attorney.
Rod received his B.S. in chemical engineering
from the University of Notre Dame, his Juris Doctorate
from Stetson University College of Law, and his Masters
of Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management
at the University of Minnesota.
Rod is admitted to
practice in the State of Minnesota, the State of Florida
and is registered to practice before the United States Patent
and Trademark Office.
