An associate at Krass Monroe, P.A., Gay practices in the areas of general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, corporate finance and public finance. She provides leadership to entrepreneurial, closely held clients, many of whom are franchisees, to help grow their businesses through acquisitions, sale/leasebacks and other financing techniques. 

With her knowledge of public financing, Gay also assists both developers and municipal clients in acquiring land for and assessing the financial feasibility of redevelopment projects, including the use of tax increment financing and tax abatement.

Before joining the firm, Gay structured municipal bond issues and prepared cash flow analyses for an independent municipal financial advisory firm. She also gained proven experience in private and public offerings of equity and debt securities and general business transactions while working at Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP in Minneapolis and Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia.

Gay earned her Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, summa cum laude, from Rice University.  She is admitted in Minnesota and New York and speaks Italian and Spanish.
